  • Harvard University, PhD, Economics: I obtained A / A- on every course (Harvard does not offer A+). My research applied game theory to communication situations where one party may lie. The complete PhD thesis can be found here.
  • Cambridge University, MPhil Economics: I received the Stevenson award as the top-ranked student in the MPhil Economics class (of 53 students).
  • Cambridge University, BA (Honors) Economics: I was awarded the Foundation Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement.
  • Top UK high-school student: In 1993, I obtained 6 A-levels at grade A, which was the best result in the entire UK.

I have been a student and researcher at two of the world's top universities. Success in these environments requires the ability to thinking deeply and rigorously, but also the ability to communicate these ideas in a comprehensible and persuasive way.
